System Administrator.

Location: Dili, Timor-Leste

Core Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems, including servers, desktops, and laptops.
Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Windows and Linux systems.
Provide technical support to Quantech Lda clients, both in person and remotely.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and security patching.
Monitor system performance and identify potential problems before they impact users.
Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the Wintel environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Wintel Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, including server and desktop versions.
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
